Obama went before the press and the American people today to issue his latest ruling.
"If you like your plan, I'll make the insurance companies give you that plan for... a year? Sound good?"
Obama is desperate. He's tossing out the LAW. Does Obama know we have a legislative branch of government? Does he know there are checks and balances?
The Obama administration is in full meltdown. Obama is melting down, too.
He could not give a straight, succinct, coherent answer to any of the questions he took. And he barely took any questions because he would blather on and on like a boring, rambling, bad professor. It was torture to listen to Obama!
The lies, the giant sack of lies that he spewed - Oh, my God!
Obama looked like someone trying to be cool but failing miserably. His answers were awkward, until he'd drift into campaign, class warfare mode. Then, he would gain a little steam. It was quite fascinating to watch, the way the Obama brain functions when he's in his comfort zone.
It was laughable that Obama was whining about federal bureaucracy, and saying the federal government has a history of being outdated in terms of IT stuff.
Well, then why the hell did you think it would be a good idea to put health care in the hands of the messed up federal government, Obama?!?!?!?
His football talk was nauseating.
OBAMA: And you know, I am very frustrated, but I'm also somebody who, if I fumble the ball, you know, I'm going to wait until I get the next play, and then I'm going to try to run as hard as I can and do right by the team. So, you know, ultimately I'm the head of this team. We did fumble the ball on it. And what I'm going to do is make sure that we get it fixed."Glitch" is now a "fumble."
When will Obama call this what it is - a nuclear detontation?
I hated the way he blew off the people on individual plans. They only make up a tiny percent. No, they're millions of REAL people.
Idiot Obama claimed he, they, underestimated the complexity of buying insurance.
REALLY?
Obama said it's not like buying a song on iTunes.
NO KIDDING, SHERLOCK!
This was when I nearly lost it:
OBAMA: And so what we did was we chose a path that was the least disruptive to try to finally make sure that health care is treated in this country like it is in every other advanced country, that it's not some privilege that just a certain portion of people can have, but it's something that everybody has some confidence about. And you know, we didn't go far left and choose an approach that would have been much more disruptive. We didn't adopt some more conservative proposals that would have been much more disruptive. We tried to choose a way that built off the existing system.Obama and the Democrats chose the "least disruptive" path???
YEAH, RIGHT! What we're seeing - this presidential rewriting of LAW and this issuing of waivers and this complete chaos in the lives of millions of Americans - is a catastrophe.
This is all so disturbing.
Mark Levin has said, "Liberalism is the philosophy of the stupid."
Obama proved that in spades today.
Do I trust Obama? Do I believe anything he says?
