Black History Month: Dr. Ben Carson

Tuesday, April 28, 2020

Thank You, President Trump

What President Trump, the Trump administration, the Coronavirus Task Force, and the American people have accomplished is remarkable.

Too many governors were unprepared for the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak. Some states really dropped the ball, but the nation's taxpayers were there to back them up and assist. You're welcome.

Working with the private sector, in a matter of days and weeks, the Trump administration organized the production of millions and millions of personal protective equipment, built hospitals, and built thousands of ventilators.

Our pharmaceutical companies worked to create more effective testing in an incredibly short period of time. They are tirelessly working to develop an effective vaccine.

So many Americans are taking part in the response to the COVID-19 illness.

Of course, we are indebted to the nurses and doctors on the front lines. All the Americans working to manufacture and deliver supplies to address the outbreak deserve our thanks.

And without question, President Trump, Vice President Pence, and everyone on the Coronavirus Task Force deserve our thanks as well.

Ben Carson: Slaves as Immigrants

If Ben Carson is going to get so much heat for his comments regarding slaves as immigrants, then others should, too.

Well, if Obama referred to slaves as immigrants, it must be appropriate.

Obama called slaves immigrants.

Yes, he can, and he did.

Jimmy Fallon: Trump, African American Museum, and Ben Carson Jokes

JIMMY FALLON: I saw that this morning Trump spoke at the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C., marking the first presidential speech that was broadcast with a seven second delay. 'Just in case.'

Actually, Trump went on a tour of the African American Museum with Ben Carson. Things got awkward at each exhibit when Trump would turn to Carson and say, 'Friend of yours?'

Jimmy Fallon: Trump and Ben Carson Joke

JIMMY FALLON: The other big news is that Trump appointed Ben Carson as his secretary of Housing and Urban Development. So that means that Trump talked with Ben Carson and Al Gore in the same day, which is kind of like popping an Ambien before you watch the Weather Channel.

Jimmy Fallon: Sarah Palin as Trump's Running Mate

JIMMY FALLON: In a recent interview, Ben Carson suggested that Donald Trump is considering Sarah Palin as his running mate. America was like, 'Hey, if we're gonna do this, we might as well do this, right?'

Ben Carson: Admits No 'Path Forward'

It's unfortunate that it took so long for Ben Carson to get off the stage. Clearly, he's had no "path forward" for weeks and weeks.

It's unfortunate that Carson chose to paint Ted Cruz as dirty, but he did. Not only did he needlessly hang around, he did damage.

Had Carson stepped aside sooner, narrowing the field, the reality of the Republican race would have been a bit clearer, when there still would have been more time to take action to alter the outcome.

Scott Walker Tried to Save the Country

When Scott Walker ended his presidential campaign last September, he highlighted the importance of clearing the field. He urged others to follow his lead.

SCOTT WALKER: Today, I believe that I am being called to lead by helping to clear the race so that a positive conservative message can rise to the top of the field. With that in mind, I will suspend my campaign immediately.

I encourage other Republican presidential candidates to consider doing the same so the voters can focus on a limited number of candidates who can offer a positive conservative alternative to the current frontrunner. This is fundamentally important to the future of the party and - ultimately - to the future of our country.
That was way back in September.

Not enough of the Republican presidential wannabes shared Walker's wisdom.

It took forever for long shots to drop out of the race.

Here we are in February, and some candidates, like John Kasich and Ben Carson, still continue to siphon off votes.

So, we have Trump poised to become the Republican nominee, thanks to that flock of egomaniacs.

Time to panic, I think.

This could not have played out worse than it did.

Pundits on the Right kept elevating Trump by slamming his supporters. The more they pushed and insulted Trump and his supporters, the more those people pushed back. No one did the right thing. No one compromised. No one would back down.

The Trump haters created the Trump candidacy, much the way the Scott Walker haters, those crazed protesters, created Walker, elevating him to become a respected national figure and make history rather than tearing him down.

Call them Establishment Republicans. Call them out of touch. Call them arrogant. Call them control freaks. I call them stupid. They kept alienating voters.

And here we are.

You reap what you sow.

They blew it.

We have those selfish candidates to blame, the ones that cared more about being in the spotlight than doing what was best for the country.

We have the stubborn, loudmouthed, name-calling Trump haters to blame, the ones that chose to mock rather than persuade in a respectful manner.

Their extended temper tantrum, their childish hissy fit thoroughly backfired.

What a disgraceful display! What a mess!

If the people give Trump the Republican nomination, then the Establishment Republicans will do all they can to elect Hillary Clinton.

Anybody but Trump, right?

No backing down.

I am genuinely concerned about our future. It's a bad dream. This isn't funny anymore. The unthinkable appears to be happening.

The people made their wishes known in the 2010 and 2014 elections, giving the Democrats well-deserved shellackings.

How did Republican lawmakers respond?

They failed to deliver. They didn't stick to the plan. They broke promises. The people understandably grew frustrated with them and with the process.

Enter Trump.

Many people are obviously desperate for strong leadership. They're so desperate that they are apparently content to accept Trump's role-playing as the answer.

Of course, the ultimate responsibility for Trump's ascendancy goes way, way back to the alleged conservatives that sat out the 2012 election and gave Obama a second term.

Of course, many Establishment Republicans have declared they will not vote for Trump, the fraud, vowing to sit out 2016 rather than debase themselves.

Of course, and here's the rub, not casting a vote for the Republican candidate is the same as casting a vote for the Democrat candidate, likely Hillary.

Once again, conservatives are CHOOSING to present the American presidency to the Leftists.

Principles? What principles?

New Hampshire Primary Poll

Kasich or any other candidate better not plan on putting out a tweet that he's going home to get a change of clothes.

That could stir up a lot of trouble.

Ted Cruz - First Hispanic to Win Presidential Primary

Ted Cruz earned a place in American history on Monday.

He became the first Hispanic candidate to win a presidential primary.

Take note, Democrats. Your alleged party of diversity didn't produce the first Hispanic winner.

In fact, when you look at the 2016 presidential candidates of the Democrat party, they are remarkably non-diverse.

John Nolte, Breitbart, writes:

Because the DC Media believe it is a powerful weapon that benefits Democrats, nothing will ever stop them from using it. But if this same media truly believed in science and objectivity, the results in Iowa would forever end their relentless smears against conservatives as racists. Tuesday night, one of the whitest and most conservative states in the country — Iowa — gave 60% of the Republican vote to two Hispanics and a black man.

Moreover, for the first time in history a Hispanic won a presidential primary. But due to the fact that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is Republican, no one on the media dares say so.

Hispanic Ted Cruz handily won the evening with 28% support.

Hispanic Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) shocked the world with a third place showing of 23%.

Dr. Ben Carson, a black man, came in 4th with 9%.

Total: 60%.

Meanwhile, over on the Democrat side, two people so old and so white they seem like something straight out of central casting, won 99% of the vote. Another white guy took the remaining 1%. Democrats gave their voters no other alternative.

But the Republicans are deemed the party of old white guys. Go figure.

Trump Attacks Cruz

Trump is not giving up.

Following his second place finish in Iowa, he has stepped up his attacks on Cruz.

Marco Rubio must be smiling.

Jimmy Fallon: Ben Carson Jokes

Jimmy Fallon began his Monday night monologue with a string of jokes trashing Ben Carson. Fallon kept pummeling the guy.

Not nice.

Later, when Michael Keaton joined Fallon, they proceeded to mock Ben Carson.

Not nice at all.

Bernie Sanders and the Koch Brothers

Bernie Sanders, Socialist and candidate for the Democrat 2016 presidential nomination, is whining about the Koch brothers.

So, Bernie believes billionaires should not have the right to support causes they believe in? They should have their First Amendment rights limited?

Democrat candidates have the full power of the mainstream media and the entertainment industry "buying" elections for them, but that's not a problem.

Democracy allows Democrat candidates to benefit from the Leftist media's influence and the influence of yapping Leftist celebrities.

We're bombarded with Democrat propaganda via alleged "news" outlets and "entertainment" outlets, but that's Democracy.

Silence the Koch brothers. Socialist Sanders calls them out by name.

Does the influence of Leftist George Soros bother Sanders? If so, Sanders should complain that Soros is buying elections. We know Soros is doing Hillary Clinton's bidding, and that doesn't help Sanders. Nonetheless, Sanders just can't bring himself to slam billionaire Soros. His whining is reserved for conservatives.

Sanders is a hack.

Ben Carson: 'Vetting'

Ben Carson is a threat so he's being attacked.

Very simple.

Video:

Time to circle the wagons FOR A CHANGE.

Stand up to the bullying rather than allowing it to succeed.

Ben Carson is being treated unfairly and it's not OK.

It's disgraceful that conservatives are allowing the Leftists and others to mock him and portray him as a buffoon and destroy him.

This extremely intelligent and accomplished man?

No.

Hillary continues to be caught in multiple lies about Benghazi and her emails, yet the Leftists excuse her slime.

NOT OK.
