A lawsuit, filed by Bernie backers in Florida, seeks to answer that very question. Is the DNC legally allowed to collude with Clinton? Did they violate DNC rules by allegedly favoring her?

“The DNC was biased in favor of one candidate – Hillary Clinton – from the beginning and throughout the process,” the plaintiffs wrote in their original lawsuit filed last July. The complaint alleges fraud, as well as negligence as it relates to a Russian Hack on the DNC server. The Bernie backers contend that the trove of DNC emails posted by Wikileaks further proves that the Democratic Party was working against Bernie Sanders from the start.

In order to get the case dismissed, attorneys for the DNC have utilized some very clever lawyering — and in the process basically confirmed every Bernie backers’ worst fear — that the DNC was biased against their man. The attorneys, in a motion to dismiss, argued that Sanders’ supporters donated knowing that the DNC favored Hillary Clinton, and therefore the lawsuit should be thrown out.

“Indeed, publicly available information demonstrates that several proposed class representatives made donations in spite of—indeed, in many cases likely because they accepted as true—the claims of bias,” the DNC’s response reads.

Her message was "I'm a woman."

True, history was made. Unfortunately, the first woman to be the nominee of a major political party is incompetent, untrustworthy, hopelessly corrupt, and an unrepentant liar.

Woman in the hall, supporters, were shown crying tears of joy.

She's a woman. Really, what difference, at this point, does it make?

I'm supposed to be impressed by her gender and the fact that people voted for a woman to be president?

I'm not.

Being female doesn't make her a desirable candidate. Her gender does nothing to alter the reality of all the other stuff that makes her unfit.

We know her role in the Benghazi cover-up. We know she lied. We know she tried to skirt accountability and put national security at risk with her private server. We know she lied. We know the election was rigged. We know the DNC worked to undermine Bernie Sanders. We know the dirty tricks, though I'm sure the dirtiest truths haven't been revealed yet.

It's too bad that a truly historic moment is nothing to celebrate because of the undeniable Clinton/Democrat sleaze.

The optics were very weird, the leader in the red jacket addressing the cheering masses.

There was an evil dictator vibe to the giant Hillary speaking from the screen.

Very creepy.

The Democrats are really taking bizarre to a new level.

JIMMY FALLON: Tonight was the start of the Democratic Convention in Philadelphia, where today the temperature was over 100 degrees -- as if Hillary Clinton needed another reason to sweat. Sweat through two pantsuits!

It was over 100 degrees on the first day of the Democratic Convention. In fact, it was so hot Hillary met with some Bernie supporters just for the chilly reception.

And this DNC scandal just keeps getting worse. Have you heard the latest now? It turns out that they rigged it so Hillary would catch all the Pokemon. There's no way a Snorlax was in her living room. That just doesn't happen.

That's the big story. There were almost 20,000 Democratic Party emails leaked over the weekend. Actually, people were even more shocked to find out that there 20,000 emails Hillary hadn't deleted yet.

DNC Email Scandal and the Media

Debbie Wasserman Schultz is being held accountable for the DNC email scandal. Others in the DNC will also probably be forced out.

What about the Leftist media? Where's the accountability?

Democratic National Convention: 'LOCK HER UP'

The "LOCK HER UP" chant at the Republican National Convention is rearing its head among the Democrats.

Hillary Clinton says the chants of "lock her up" at last week's Republican National Convention made her feel "very sad."

Clinton tells "60 Minutes" in an interview broadcast Sunday that she doesn't know what the GOP convention was about, "other than criticizing me." She says she seems to be "the only unifying theme that they had."

The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee says Republicans offered "no positive agenda" and presented "a very dark, divisive campaign."

How does Hillary characterize the Democrats' adoption of the "LOCK HER UP" chant?

Things are off to a bit of a rough start at the Democratic National Convention, which, as of Monday morning, appeared to be a festival of booing and criticism directed at Hillary Clinton and soon-to-be former DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

On Sunday, around 1,000 Bernie Sanders supporters marched through the streets of Philadelphia calling for Clinton's ouster. Many of them used the same anti-Clinton slogans yelled by attendees of last week's Republican National Convention, including "Lock her up" and "Hillary for prison."
