Emmys - Stephen Colbert Wins Outstanding Talk Show

Emmys - Hanna Einbinder: 'Go Birds, F*ck Ice, and Free Palestine'

This is why Americans are rejecting Hollywood and choosing not to consumer its crap. They are all so out of touch with the American people. Most Americans are not pro-Hamas. Most of us want law and order, understanding the danger of the invasion Biden promoted. Regarding Einginder's "Go Birds," at least in Wisconsin, most of us are "Go Pack."

'Better Call Saul' Makes History, Record Losses at Emmys

Fifty-three nominations are not a single win?

That's a flat-out embarrassment for the Emmys.

Emmys Postponed

What? The Emmys are postponed?

This is the worst thing that's ever happened to me!

Emmys: No Masks, No Social Distancing

Andrew Cuomo Stripped of His Emmy

Cuomo never should have been given an Emmy in the first place.

It was such a bizarre stunt to give him an award and now it's followed up by this humiliating about-face.

It's an embarrassment that Cuomo was depicted as a hero, given his role in the deaths of thousands, his lies, his abuse of power, his abuse of women and his routine predatory behavior.

Being stripped of his Emmy isn't adequate punishment for his crimes.

Oscars Viewership - Last 8 Years

Wow. Americans don't like the Oscars. They really don't like the Oscars.

Ratings plummet for other awards shows, too.

Cuomo's Deadly Executive Order - One Year Ago

I hope Emmy-winning Cuomo spends just a little time today reflecting on the thousands of deaths he caused.

I hope he stops lying about his role in their deaths and the ensuing cover-up.

Cuomo's COVID Cover-up

Andrew Cuomo is responsible for the deaths of thousands of people and lied about it.

And this guy had the audacity to write a book about his alleged masterful handling of the COVID-19 crisis and Democrats/Leftists gobbled it up.

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences had the incredibly poor judgment to actually give Cuomo an Emmy for his TV addresses related to the virus. Celebrities slobbered over Cuomo's achievements.

Then there was the great, infallible Dr. Anthony Fauci praising Cuomo as a role model for how to successfully manage COVID.

It is all disgusting. The media that propped up killer Cuomo are complicit. They permitted the cover-up to continue instead of busting it.

Cuomo's cover-up must be addressed by all his enablers.

For the love of God, somebody ask Fauci about Cuomo's cover-up and get him to comment on the absolute disgrace that Cuomo is.

Hold Andrew Cuomo, the other killer governors, and all these terrible people accountable.

Dan Crenshaw on Andrew Cuomo's Emmy

Yes, they are.

Janice Dean and Andrew Cuomo's Emmy for COVID Leadership

Andrew Cuomo's executive order led people to their deaths. Giving him an Emmy for leadership during the COVID-19 crisis is an insult to every surviving loved one of those killed as a result of his deadly nursing home policy.

Rick and Morty at the Emmys

Emmys: Glenn Weiss Proposes

When Glenn Weiss won the Emmy for directing a variety special, he didn't deliver a political screed.

He proposed.

It seemed very genuine and very sweet, certainly not a typical moment on an awards show.

Samantha Bee Honored by Television Academy

The Television Academy honored Samantha Bee Thursday night with an award to recognize her for advancing social change.

From Emmys.com:

Full Frontal with Samantha Bee gives utmost consideration to comedy and truth in their purest forms. This is done with finesse and it is done with an acute awareness of the striking power of the spoken word.

To be truly effective in doing so, there can be no stepping lightly, no sparing of feelings. There may indeed be inspiration, there may be frustration, there will definitely be expletives, and there will most certainly be laughter.

As it is with the best comedy.

As it is with the truth.

As you will find on Full Frontal with Samantha Bee.

For its dedication to making the audience laugh while making it think, the Television Academy is proud to include Full Frontal with Samantha Bee in the Television Academy Honors.
Wow.

What a load!

Emmys 2017

I agree.

Sean Spicer - Emmys

I didn't watch the Emmy Awards broadcast when it aired, opting to watch the Packers lose to the Falcons instead.

Later, I saw the opening of the show. With Stephen Colbert as host, I expected it to be a Trump bash fest. It was, no surprise.

Seeing Sean Spicer was a surprise.

The Leftists' reaction to Spicer's appearance was the only thing entertaining about it.

For example:

Emmys 2014

Why did I spend three hours of my life watching the Emmys?

I don't want to watch these Hollywood awards shows, but it's a habit I can't break.

Seth Meyers was OK. He certainly didn't crash and burn like David Letterman did when he hosted the Oscars, but he wasn't great.

The whole show was pretty flat.

Things didn't click.

"Weird Al" Yankovic, theoretically, should have been a highlight, but he wasn't.

Billy Crystal's tribute to Robin Williams was touching because it was heartfelt and real. The moment wasn't driven by ego, a rare thing during an awards broadcast.

Speaking of ego, could Julia Roberts have been more annoying?

No. No, she was as annoying as it gets.

She presented the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. When announcing the nominees, she couldn't just read the names. She added comments. She did a Matthew McConaughey impersonation. Just SHUT UP!

After she was done with her shtick, she couldn't announce the winner before selfishly yapping some more.

She informed the audience:

"This is horrible. This is a horrible category! God, I'm glad I'm not in this category! And I apologize to anybody who doesn't hug me in the next 10 seconds. [Loud sigh] The Emmy goes to... and you're all fabulous, by the way... and the Emmy goes to -- Bryan Cranston."
What is wrong with her?

Again, why did I spend three hours of my life watching these people?

I am happy Breaking Bad got the recognition it deserves. No Jeff Daniels abomination this year.

Jimmy Fallon: '24,' 'Law & Order,' 'Lost' Medley

A comedy highlight of the 2010 Emmys was Jimmy Fallon's musical medley paying "tribute to three shows we lost this year."

Fallon's impressions - Elton John, Boyz II Men, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day - were funny. In just seconds, he transformed from one artist to the next.

The altered lyrics were great.

JIMMY FALLON (Elton John): Goodbye 24, Though I never watched you on TV, I missed one episode, had to buy the DVD. And Jack saved the day, He saved our lives when the show came to an end. Never going to the men's room, how did he hold it in? I would like to thank you for all the torturin' For Jack and Chloe and CTU, and the first black president.

Music: Boyz II Men's "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday" Altered lyrics:

JIMMY FALLON (Boyz II Men): How do I say goodbye to Law & Order? The good crimes, the changing cast-- Everybody in New York City with a SAG card had a blast. And how did we get to Season 21? But now the sound has gone away. (Law & Order's signature notes) But at least there's still that one with Mariska Hargitay.
Music: Green Day's "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)" Altered lyrics:

JIMMY FALLON (Billie Joe Armstrong): Another show is gone 'cause Lost is over, too. Locke was the smoke monster and Jacob was some dude. Goodbye to Kate and Sawyer, Hurley, Ben, and Jack. He grew a crazy beard and said, 'We have to go back, WE HAVE TO GO BACK!' The island it was mythical, but in the end they died. I didn't understand it but I tried. The island it was mythical, and in the end they died. I didn't understand it but I tried.

Victoria Rowell: Obama Dress - Emmys

It seems that every awards show has one standout celebrity who takes the honor of being dressed worse than anyone else there. The 2009 Emmys were no different.

And the title for the worst dressed goes to... Victoria Rowell.

That is awful!

Rowell looks like she's going to the Democrat convention. She needs a goofy donkey hat to complete the outfit.

There is nothing remotely glamorous about that Obama dress. The print looks sort of like a tablecloth fabric, only no one with any taste would put something like that on their table.

This is worse than what Björk wore to the 2001 Oscars, the infamous "swan dress."
