Mamdani would never be adding Little Italy to the map of immigrant enclaves if not for the blowback he received. His vision for changing New York and America doesn't include the immigrants responsible for building the country and fighting and dying for our freedom. The contributions of those immigrants are ignored by Mamdani.Mayor Mamdani's "immigrant enclaves" map erases Little Italy and other historic Italian neighborhoods, plus major Jewish and Irish ones.
