Scott Walker Recall Victory: Nine Years Ago

Nine years ago, Wisconsin voters chose Scott Walker to be governor, making him the first governor in the United States to survive a recall election.

It was historic.

The crazed Democrats/Leftists crashed and burned in historic fashion.

Their insanity elevated Scott Walker, turning him into a national figure and setting the stage for his presidential run.

They did all that.



So often recently, as our rights were stripped away by Tony Evers, I've thought about how different the COVID-19 crisis would have been for us in Wisconsin if Scott Walker had still been our governor.

I hope Wisconsinites have learned how quickly our lives can change for the worse when a Democrat is in charge.

Clearly, Fauci doesn't believe the COVID vaccine is effective.

He doesn't trust it. If he did, he wouldn't be afraid to be in a crowd, go to a movie, or eat inside at a restaurant.

Of course, it's possible Fauci does trust the vaccine but he wants you to believe it's dangerous to give up the freedom-crushing COVID rules.

If the vaccine works, as the science says it does, and you've been vaccinated, it's time to take back your life.

Trust the science. Trust the vaccine, not Fauci.

Wisconsin Republicans End Mask Mandate, Evers Reissues

The Wisconsin State Assembly passed SJR-3 on a 52-42 vote. The Senate passed it on Jan. 26th. It terminates @GovEvers' EO #104, he issued on Jan. 19th. SJR-3 goes into effect tomorrow. It does not stop @GovEvers from immediately issuing another emergency order. #WIright

The Wisconsin Assembly has joined the Senate in passing a joint resolution to end Governor Evers' public health emergency (and with it the statewide mask mandate). It will take effect when Assembly Speaker Robin Vos and Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu sign it tomorrow.

If you live in Wisconsin, you know Tony Evers is doing an awful job managing the COVID-19 crisis. (Where are the vaccines, Tony?)

Evers is a liar. He doesn't keep his promises. He's been playing politics with our health for nearly a year. If Evers followed the science, public schools would be open.

Furthermore, putting an end to Evers' alleged public health emergency powers doesn't mean that masks won't be worn in Wisconsin. Businesses require masks. Churches require masks. I can't think of any place I go that doesn't require people to wear masks.

It's important to remember that there are many threats to Wisconsinites. COVID-19 isn't the only danger to our lives. An unconstitutional power grab is a threat to Wisconsinites, too.

That's good news. It's nice when the facts are reassuring. Looks like we've turned the corner on COVID-19, as President Trump has said.

Actually, it looks like we did that in early May. It's a shame Democrats and their media hacks are so invested in stoking fear.

Preston Cole: Wear a Mask During Zoom Meeting

Wisconsin is once again a national laughingstock.

From The Hill: "Wisconsin state agency requires employees to wear masks while teleconferencing"

A July 31 email sent to employees by the state’s Department of Natural Resources (DNR) reportedly reminded them that Gov. Tony Evers’s (D) mask mandate went into effect the next day.

Natural Resources Secretary Preston Cole said in the email that staff has to wear masks in DNR buildings and in virtual meetings, according to the Journal Sentinel.

“Also, wear your mask, even if you are home, to participate in a virtual meeting that involves being seen — such as on Zoom or another video-conferencing platform — by non-DNR staff,” Cole reportedly wrote. “Set the safety example which shows you as a DNR public service employee care about the safety and health of others.”

The governor’s mask order requires face coverings to be worn in indoor public spaces, and does not include residencies.

This is ridiculous.

You do not need to wear a mask in your own home unless you or someone in your household is ill.

Wearing a mask while teleconferencing from home sets a terrible example. It reveals the buffoonish lengths the Evers administration will go to keep fear in the forefront.

This kind of mask theater may make people think they're being played.

We've learned a lot from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Government leaders and officials should not expect people to surrender their rights again.

I doubt citizens would trust the "experts" in the same manner.

It's unreasonable to shut down people's lives for months and months. The issuance of all those draconian orders isn't going to fly again.

So much suffering has been a direct result of the lockdowns. The lockdowns killed people.

Government officials drunk with power pushed people too far. They exposed themselves as politically driven, willing to lie to gain control.

Fury exploded outside the Wisconsin State Capitol on Tuesday night as protesters smashed windows at the statehouse, attacked a state senator, and tore down two iconic statues — including one of an abolitionist who died trying to end slavery during the Civil War.

The unrest began earlier Tuesday following the arrest of a Black man who was arrested after bringing a megaphone and a baseball bat into a Capitol square restaurant.

...During the melee late Tuesday, Democratic state Sen. Tim Carpenter was assaulted after taking a photo of protesters.

"I don't know what happened ... all I did was stop and take a picture ... and the next thing I'm getting five-six punches, getting kicked in the head," Carpenter told a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporter following the assault.

Following the attack, Carpenter collapsed, WKOW-TV reported. The station's crew called an ambulance. No further information about the incident, possible arrests or Carpenter's condition was immediately available.

The same group also tore down the Col. Hans Christian Heg statue a short time later. The group then went on to throw the statue into Lake Monona. Heg fought for the Union during the Civil War and was a stark opponent of slavery during that time.

Many businesses are still not allowed to operate fully. Houses of worship and their congregations are severely restricted.

It's heartbreaking that families have been kept from visiting loved ones in hospitals, and from holding gatherings like funerals and weddings.

The insanity of the lockdowns has been exposed. Certain groups are exempt from the rules. Their cheerleaders celebrate them.
