Feingold: Johnson 'Out of Step'

Russ Feingold still clings to the notion that passing ObamaCare was a good thing, even though Wisconsinites told him we were against it.

On this video, Feingold admits that Wisconsin voters were against it. In effect, he admits that he didn't listen.

Feingold also admits that college graduates often can't get jobs.

The economy is a problem. Wisconsinites know that more government spending, debt, and higher taxes aren't the way out of the Democrats' economic ditch.

From the Northwestern:

U.S. Sen. Russ Feingold drew sharp contrasts with Republican challenger Ron Johnson Monday saying the Oshkosh businessman’s campaign lacks specifics and is out of step with Wisconsin voters.

“This election is a decision about what kind of senator you want,” Feingold said during an interview with the Oshkosh Northwestern’s editorial board. “I have offered representation consistent with Wisconsin values. I have been a part of 40 bipartisan efforts to address issues. I am open and accessible. I go to each county every year (for listening sessions). Those are fundamental qualities I don’t think my opponent has.”

...Feingold said Johnson has misinformed voters about the impact of health insurance reform and the stimulus bill and lacks a commitment to be open and upfront with Wisconsinites. He said Tea Party members who carefully evaluate his voting record will find they have more in common with him than with Johnson.

“I hope they’ll examine whether he is, in any way, shape or form, a representative of their views,” Feingold said, pointing to his opposition to the Patriot Act, free trade agreements and financial reform bills. “I don’t think he is.”

Ron Johnson isn't "out of step."

Feingold is out of touch.

And he lies.
