Russ Feingold: Keith Olbermann and Ed Schultz

Here's a Tweet from Russ Feingold's staff:

Check out what @wegoted and @KeithOlbermann had to say about Ron Johnson's "plans" for jobs and veterans

The link takes you to a blog post that slams Ron Johnson and uses video from the MSNBC Leftist extremists Keith Olbermann and Ed Schultz.

Because MSNBC is such an unbelievably low-rated cable operation catering only to the fringe Left, I think a lot of people aren't familiar with how out of the mainstream and how hateful Olbermann and Schultz are.

Here's an example of Olbermann from his MSNBC show:

KEITH OLBERMANN: Reagan's dead and he was a lousy president.

I don't think most Wisconsin voters agree with Olbermann. Why would Feingold's camp want to be associated in any way with someone so hateful and so wrong as Olbermann?

I suppose Feingold and his staff don't realize how Olbermann goes over with mainstream Americans. Feingold is SO EXTREME himself that he doesn't get it.

Then, there's the shockingly offensive Ed Schultz.

I cannot imagine why anyone connected with Feingold's campaign would consider that man a credible source.

The fact that Schultz is considered a voice that Wisconsin voters can relate to reveals how out of touch Team Feingold is.

Here's an example of MSNBC host Ed Schultz ranting on his syndicated radio show:

Transcript, from The Radio Equalizer:
SCHULTZ (01:59): I just want all of you to know that I get my entertainment through NewsBusters. (laughs, then in mincing voice)

How dare the Democrats make fun of Dick Cheney's heart problems and turn it into a political football. (back to normal voice, to the extent possible) I can just hear some little weasel who's writing that at NewsBusters. You're my entertainment.

Bozell, Bozell and his bozo crew. You're damn right, Dick Cheney's heart's a political football. We ought to rip it out and kick it around and stuff it back in him. I'm glad he didn't tip over. He is the new poster child for health care in this country.

SCHULTZ (04:38): And we want Shooter to make it. Hell, we hope he goes and shoots somebody else in the face. That was a helluva story way back when.

SCHULTZ (05:26): How come Dick Cheney's health care isn't being dropped? Do you realize that if you had five heart attacks, hell, you wouldn't get past two heart attacks and they'd dump you.

But because you're a war criminal and because you are on the take from Haliburton and you had these executive meetings in 2001 back in the, you know, the days of the rolling blackouts and executive privilege on how we're going to develop energy policy in this country, you do stuff like that, hell, you can get the best health care on the face of the earth.

That is truly awful. Absolutely disgusting. Sick.

But MSNBC gives Ed "We ought to rip [Dick Cheney's heart] out and kick it around and stuff it back in him" Schultz a daily platform to spew his ugliness.

I can't understand why MSNBC employs someone like Schultz.

How can such horrible remarks be welcome there?

How can Russ Feingold's blog cite the horrible Schultz as a reasonable source?

It's a disgrace.

Why would an level-headed Wisconsin voter listen to what Olbermann and Schultz have to say about Ron Johnson?

The fact is no mainstream Wisconsin voter would listen to them.

The fact is Feingold is on the fringe Left. Extremists Olbermann and Schultz are his allies.

You're known by the company you keep.

Feingold should think twice about getting cozy with the likes of Olbermann and Schultz. It says a lot about Feingold and it's not good.
