Sharron Angle: Las Vegas Review-Journal Endorsement

Nevada's largest newspaper, the Las Vegas Review-Journal, has endorsed U.S. Senate Republican candidate Sharron Angle.

The paper sharply rejects Harry Reid.

The editorial board pulls no punches, giving a devastating assessment of Reid's dismal performance in Washington, his continual drift toward the extreme Left.

The board pummels Reid and embraces Angle's candidacy for the U.S. Senate.

What an excellent summation of what's at stake!

What a fantastic contrast of disastrous liberal policies of misery with conservative policies of prosperity!

Angle can deliver a chance at hope and change.

Harry "This war is lost" Reid can only offer a nail in America's coffin.

If it's simply an endorsement of "not Reid" fine. But this woman is certifiable. Did you know that she once prevented her local high school football team from wearing black jerseys, because black is evil and invokes the devil?

Did you read the editorial?

It's an ENDORSEMENT of Sharron Angle.

Seriously crippled by this much baggage, Sen. Reid has calculated that his survival depends on portraying Ms. Angle as an "extremist" who would endanger women, children and the elderly.

In fact, Ms. Angle is well within the mainstream on most issues and embraces a political philosophy popular with millions of Americans who are making themselves heard this election cycle.

Ms. Angle sees government expanding to meddle in virtually every aspect of our lives and she stands up to say enough is enough. She sees red ink from sea to shining sea and she argues for a different direction -- one that forces Washington to live within its means, while keeping taxes at relatively low rates. She sees a crushing debt being foisted on our children and grandchildren and she demands fiscal restraint.

Sharron Angle sees entitlement programs that cannot be sustained without significant reforms and she has the courage to offer solutions. She sees an arrogant federal government that routinely ignores its constitutional boundaries, and she isn't shy about trying to push it back behind the fence.

Say this about Sharron Angle: You know what you're going to get. She's a reliable vote for individual rights, smaller government and constitutional principles.

Well said.

Yes, I read it, I just don't get it! I wouldn't vote for a crazy Democrat, I'd just abstain. I also wouldn't hire a maid that cranked German death metal while mopping. I'd just go with the dirty floor.

Abstain from voting? NEVER!

No way. Someone is going to represent me and I want my voice heard.

No candidate is perfect. I've yet to vote for one I agreed with on everything. Hasn't happened.

Between Reid and Angle, as the editorial spells out, it's not even close. Angle is the better choice by far.

The Dems are spending so much time on pathetic, goofy attacks because on the issues American people care about they know they're dead in the water.

Likewise, I have never found a candidate that I agreed with 100%. But I've always voted, and Angle would have mine if I lived in Nevada. I do have two married sons that live in Las Vegas. With them and their wives that's 4 votes for Sharron right there. ")

I wish I could cast a vote for Sharron Angle, though I'm very happy being able to vote for Ron Johnson.

We need some new faces in Washington to get the country back on track.
