This photo was hidden, kept from the public for more than a decade. The photographer, Askia Muhammad, tells the story.

It was during a mid-2005 Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) meeting on Capitol Hill when award-winning journalist Askia Muhammad captured one of the most significant photos of his career.

Muhammad had doggedly covered then Chicago Sen. Barack Obama since he "first laid eyes on him" at the 2004 Democratic National Convention. Now, here was the Senator in a warm conversation with constituent and fellow Chicagoan Minister Louis Farrakhan. As leader of the Nation of Islam, Farrakhan is another star in Black America, but one whose name is synonymous with controversy.

Wasting no time, Muhammad snapped the news photo. But moments later, he faced a dilemma.

Obama had already become the darling of national Democratic politics. And the scent of a presidential run was strong.

Muhammad and others almost immediately realized that the public release of this photo could mean major trouble down the road. Mainly because of bigotry and fear-mongering, the public release of that photo could doom America's chances of electing Obama as its first Black President.

Muhammad had not even left the scene when he received a call and the photo was being summoned by a member of the Congressional Black Caucus. Muhammad ultimately surrendered the disk to Minister Farrakhan's chief of staff. And it remained one of America's best hidden secrets for the next 12 years.

For the first time, more than a decade later, the glowing photograph of now former President Barack Obama and Minister Louis Farrakhan has been published in a book by Muhammad to be released Jan. 31 - "The Autobiography of Charles 67X". Muhammad and some political observers still believe that if that photo had been released, it could have drawn enough fire - even from some of Obama's supporters looking for excuses - to dent his chances of becoming President.

"I gave the picture up at the time and basically swore secrecy," Muhammad said in an exclusive interview with the Trice Edney News Wire this week. "But after the nomination was secured and all the way up until the inauguration; then for eight years after he was President, it was kept under cover."

So many secrets, so many cover-ups.

Obama uses the UN to abstain to an anti-Semitic hate Israel resolution. And yet these leftists, leftists generally and leftists, I'm sorry to say, in the Jewish community, come after Trump, like this pathetic clown Jerry Nadler.

The anti-Semitism charge directed at Trump is really bizarre.

That fact that Trump has to defend himself on this is nuts, especially given the fact that Obama was never called out for his clear anti-Semitism.

Louis Farrakhan: 'Kill Them'

Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan called late last month for black Americans to “rise up” and “kill those who kill us” if the federal government fails to “intercede in our affairs.”

The call for violence came during a July 30 speech the radical leader delivered at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Miami.

“The Koran teaches persecution is worse than slaughter. Then it says, retaliation is prescribed in matters of the slain. Retaliation is a prescription from God to calm the breaths of those whose children have been slain,” Farrakhan said.

“So if the federal government will not intercede in our affairs, then we must rise up and kill those who kill us. Stalk them and kill them and let them feel the pain of death that we are feeling,” he added.

Louis Farrakhan's comments should be condemned by all, including his Leftist/Democrat buddies. They should be forced to answer for Farrakhan's explosive remarks.

Louis Farrakhan stated “We need to put the American flag down. Because we’ve caught as much hell under that as the Confederate flag” in remarks before the Metropolitan AME Church in Washington, DC on Wednesday first reported by DC’s WMAL.

Farrakhan said, “White folks march with you because they don’t want you upsetting the city, they don’t give a damn about them nine.”

He added that when the police took suspected shooter Dylann Roof to Burger King they were saying “You did a good job. Kill all them [bleep.]”

Later, he declared, “I don’t know what the hell the fight is about over the Confederate flag. We need to put the American flag down. Because we’ve caught as much hell under that as the Confederate flag,” comments that were meant with cheers and applause. He added, “Who are we fighting today? It’s the people that carry the American flag.”

Democrats, including Obama, need to condemn their friend Farrakhan's repulsive remarks, assuming they believe his words are despicable.

The rhetoric is out of control. It's inexcusable.

Farrakhan's statement that police commended Dylann Roof for killing those nine innocent people in church is beyond disgusting.

We need leaders to step up and speak some sense, quieting the insane, hateful voices.

Where's Obama?

Occupied with more pressing business like playing golf or schmoozing at fundraisers or doing interviews with media giants like Marc Maron?

It seems like Roof and Farrakhan have a similar goal. They both want to incite a race war.

Of course, Farrakhan didn't gun down nine people, but his words are so incendiary that he could be encouraging a nutjob to lash out violently at whites and police officers and anyone displaying the American flag, symbol of oppression.

Why are so many people out there trying to create racial conflict?

Something to keep in mind: Obama is president. He really needs to serve as a uniter. If he wanted to, he could.

On Sunday, Louis Farrakhan delivered a nearly four-hour speech at the United Center in Chicago as part of Saviour's Day, an event celebrating Wallace D. Fard Muhammad's birth, the founder of the Nation of Islam.

His speech was titled "The Time and What Must Be Done."

In his four hours, he covered a wide range of subjects. As usual, his remarks were bizarre.

Ron Hubbard, Farrakhan expressed concern for President Barack Obama's life; called for the return of Jean-Bertrand Aristide, the former Haitian president now in exile; and described a spiritual experience in 1985 in which he ascended into a flying saucer and heard the voice of Elijah Muhammad predicting historical events that did come to pass.

"Some people think I'm a prophet," Farrakhan said. "But I have to say, the word ‘prophet' is too cheap a word. Prophets come in the absence of God like moonlight comes in the absence of the sun. I come to fulfill that which you have read from the prophets."

Farrakhan's ramblings appeal to tens of thousands.

The man talks like a total nut, and he has loads of followers.

I don't see Leftists and the lib media objecting to him. They don't label him as a threat. If anything, they help to spread his message.

Why is Farrakhan allowed to spout his drivel with impunity?

Why are those in the Tea Party movement demonized and slandered while Farrakhan and his faithful are given a free pass by the lib media?

They spend more time attempting to destroy Sarah Palin than they spend criticizing anything the racist and anti-Semitic Farrakhan has to say. They really don't criticize him at all.

Sarah Palin has never said she believes she was invited aboard an unidentified flying object called "the wheel," yet she's considered to be dangerous and a loon.

Farrakhan: H1N1 Vaccine Kills People

I don't think Louis Farrakhan is concerned about the shortages of H1N1 vaccine.

He probably considers it an act of God.

"The Earth can't take 6.5 billion people. We just can't feed that many. So what are you going to do? Kill as many as you can," Farrakhan reportedly said during an event in Memphis, Tenn. "We have to develop a science that kills them and makes it look as though they died from some disease."

The 76-year-old added that many wise people won't take the vaccine, according to UPI.

His comments were made during an event to observe the group's Holy Day of Atonement, and also marked the 14th anniversary of the Million Man March in Washington.

Good grief.

Farrakhan doesn't get it.

The vaccine wasn't designed to kill people.

And whenever you become strong, whenever your truth will undermine the falsehoods that the society seems to be built upon, you become a threat. So when you become a threat to the powers that be, they use the power of the media first to demagnetize you by making you appear as what you are not. And after they take you away from the magnetic appeal that you have with the people, then you are either assassinated or you're made poor and raggedy. So when you get back to your people, you have no growing power and you have no money.

So to strip Michael of his legacy, to strip him of the catalogue of The Beatles and Elvis, to strip him of the great financial strength that he potentially has is to give him back to us in his move toward self-awareness, self-love. He always loved humanity. The problem was he did not have that love so much of himself, but he was growing to see the beauty of himself.

LEMON: You said he didn't have that love of himself. Talk to me more about that.

FARRAKHAN: In this way... most black people, not only here, but in the Caribbean, in South America, Central America, in Africa, we have been the victims of the tyranny of white supremacy and black inferiority. So we're ashamed of the flatness of our nose, the thickness of our lips, the kinkiness of our hair.

So all of the pictures that I saw on CNN while I was in Africa, they showed Michael as a 9-year-old, a 10-year-old in his black color, his thick lips, his nose, his hair. And then they showed this gradual progression of Michael.

And the message, you don't have to say it, the message was that when he was young somebody told him he wasn't beautiful, and he wanted... when you have money, like most rich people in Hollywood or entertainers, movie actresses, business people who don't like their nose or their lips or their breasts or their behind, or whatever they want to improve on, money makes them able to do that. So he was improving, in his mind, on himself by changing his nose, his lips. But that's the journey outward.

LEMON: But are you saying that he didn't want to be black, that he wanted to be white or look white?

FARRAKHAN: Well, the evidence is there. That's the evidence of the outward journey. But the inward journey, that's the most beautiful journey of all. He was journeying toward himself, and he's journeying toward the unification of all human beings with mutual respect.

So when he made that song, 'doesn't matter if you're black or white,' because the outside lost its meaning. The real meaning is not the color of your skin. It's the spirit that energizes you and moves you to action. That's the real person. And that's why Jesus said, 'As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.'

LEMON: What was your relationship to the Jackson family, Michael Jackson, Jermaine Jackson?

FARRAKHAN: Well, I don't know the Jackson family as well as my children. My children grew up with the Jackson family. My children adored the Jackson family. They were... my son Mustapha, my son Joshua, my daughter, they were involved in many ways with the Jacksons.

I met Michael several years ago, and I loved him long before I met him. But after meeting him -- such a gentle spirit, such a beautful human being.

Yes, the tragedy is how Michael was portrayed. And I must respectfully say to the media, you as a media person, Mr. King as a media person, all of the people that are in media -- if the sins of any of those who are before the world were exposed, you would lose your magnetism.

My mother said, 'You don't have to lie about anybody because the truth about everybody is bad enough.' Nobody comes this way without sin. Nobody comes this way without fault. But the flesh, this, argues against the spirit. And the flesh ofttimes wins. But when death comes, the flesh and the veil that the flesh uses to hide the spirit is buried.

Mozart had a terrific life. Beethoven, Nat King Cole, you name it, all of us have problems. But when death comes, it puts a period to our life. The flesh goes back to the earth, but that essence that caused us to transcend time is what lives. Michael lives.

LEMON: Michael Jackson's children -- young. You heard his daughter, Paris, at the memorial service speak out about her father. What would you say to them? Any advice?

FARRAKHAN: I thought her words were so touching, because in the little that she said, and the way she said it, and the way the family formed around her and around each other, told such a beautiful story; because now we can see the humanity of Michael. He loved his children. He was a wonderful father. And then to see all of the family unite in a bond of love, isn't that what we want to see?

Translation: Michael Jackson was a victim of the tyranny of white supremacy.

When a black man becomes too powerful he's either assassinated or stripped of his wealth.

Clearly, Farrakhan's view of society is woefully outdated.
