Cuomo Calls Cardinal Dolan 'Religious Right'

Cardinal Timothy Dolan is not happy that New York Governor Andrew Cuomo linked him with the "religious right."

Here's Dolan's statement:

Today, with a home field advantage in the New York Times, Governor Cuomo linked me with the “religious right.”

This is something new from the governor. He did not consider me part of the “religious right” when seeking my help with the minimum wage increase, prison reform, protection of migrant workers, a welcome of immigrants and refugees, and advocacy for college programs for the state’s inmate population, which we were happy to partner with him on, because they were our causes too. I guess I was part of the “religious left” in those cases.

The civil rights of the helpless, innocent, baby in the womb, as liberal Democrat Pennsylvania Governor Robert Casey once remarked is not about “right versus left, but right versus wrong.”

The governor also continues his attempt to reduce the advocacy for the human rights of the pre-born infant to a “Catholic issue,” an insult to our allies of so many religions, or none at all. Governor Casey again: “I didn’t get my pro-life belief from my religion class in a Catholic school, but from my biology and U.S. Constitution classes.”

Yes, religion is personal; it’s hardly private, as the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s life and struggle for civil rights so eloquently showed. Governor Cuomo’s professed faith teaches discrimination against immigrants is immoral, too. Does that mean he cannot let that moral principle guide his public policy? Clearly not.

Debate abortion on what it is. Don’t hide behind labels like “right wing” and “Catholic.”

I'm glad Cardinal Dolan is calling out Cuomo for his dishonest political posturing, though I'm somewhat troubled by his aversion to "religious right."

Dolan shouldn't be concerned about right or left political labels at all. He shouldn't care about how Cuomo characterizes him.

Of course, as Dolan notes, Leftists refuse to debate abortion on what it is.

They can't engage in a debate. They would have to admit they're advocates for the murder of innocent human life.

NBC canceled Mr. Macdonald’s appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s “Tonight Show” hours before it was set to air.

“Out of sensitivity to our audience and in light of Norm Macdonald’s comments in the press today, ‘The Tonight Show’ has decided to cancel his appearance on Tuesday’s telecast,” the network said in a statement.

MacDonald apologized for his comments about #MeToo.

NBC has no problem with Alec Baldwin appearing on The Tonight Show. He's given a pass for the too many to mention offensive things he has said and done, yet Norm MacDonald would threaten the sensitivities of The Tonight Show audience.

I stopped watching Fallon in August. I quit DVRing the show as well. I had enough of all the political attacks and really mean-spirited assaults on Melania Trump. It was time to change my TV viewing habits. I no longer watch any late night talk show now. I'm done and I'm glad.

Stormy Daniels on SNL

Stormy Daniels, the real Stormy Daniels, called for Trump to resign on Saturday Night Live.

She said to Alec Baldwin as Trump, "I know you don't believe in climate change, but a storm's a-comin', baby."

Baldwin as Trump said, "I've never been so scared and so horny at the same time."

Then, both delivered the line, "Live from New York, it's Saturday Night."

Daniels blew her line.

SNL: Basketball Scene

On Saturday Night Live, Alec Baldwin as Donald Trump and Melissa McCarthy as Sean Spicer get lots of attention, but it's the same old, same old.

I really liked the basketball scene sketch, a filmed piece. Very funny.

A movie is being filmed. Behind the scene's stars, Pete Davidson and Kenan Thompson, Jimmy Fallon and Mikey Day play basketball in the background. The director, Alex Moffat, is very patient with the background players.

ALEX MOFFAT: And cut! Hey, uh, basketball dudes? Looking just a little bit sloppy right now. We asked about basketball experience.

MIKEY DAY: Oh, yeah. I took a sports movement class at Juilliard.

MOFFAT: Uh-huh.

JIMMY FALLON: I was in a stage production of Basketball Diaries.

MOFFAT: Eh, forget it. Never mind. It's all good.

FALLON: Thank you, sir.

DAY: Thank you.

MOFFAT: And we're rolling, and action!

SNL: Cold Open Mocks Trump Supporters (Video)

Saturday Night Live has pummeled President Trump mercilessly.

Saturday's show began with a new target. The cold open portrayed Trump supporters in Kentucky as dolts blindly following the man they helped elect.

Alec Baldwin again played Trump. (It's a "big deal." "60 to 75 percent of the people I encounter treat me like I was Jonas Salk and I cured polio.") What an ego!

SNL: Kristen Stewart F-Bomb

After another predictable Alec Baldwin as Trump cold open, host Kristen Stewart did her monologue, which ended with an F-bomb.

Actress Kristen Stewart dropped a profanity during her monologue during a particularly scathing broadcast of “Saturday Night Live” that lampooned not only President Donald Trump, but his senior advisor Steve Bannon and the White House Press Secretary, Sean Spicer.

“We’ve got a great show, and I totally care that I’m here because it’s the coolest f—ing thing,” the “Twilight” star said as “SNL” cast members Kate McKinnon and Aidy Bryant looked on, shocked. She quickly realized her error and said, “Oh my god, and I’m sorry, and Alessia Cara is also here and I’ll never come back.”

Charming!

...In the past, profanity on “Saturday Night Live” has not been rewarded. In February, 1981, cast member Charles Rocket improvised a response to host Charlene Tilton that included the word “f–k,” an incident that went down in infamy. Featured player Jenny Slate inadvertently used a variation of that same word in her debut on the program in September of 2009. While she had a strong first year, and even established herself with a recurring character, she did not return to the program in its next season.

SNL: Trump and Hillary Cold Open - VOTE

The last time before the election, Saturday Night Live opened with Donald Trump (Alec Baldwin) and Hillary Clinton (Kate McKinnon).

Erin Burnett (Cecily Strong) questioned Hillary about her emails and the FBI investigation. Meanwhile, Trump kissed an FBI agent, a KKK guy, and Putin.

The sketch ended with an awkward, preachy, "Let's all get along but don't vote for Trump" plea.

ALEC BALDWIN: Now it's time to get out there and vote. None of this will have mattered if you don't vote.

KATE McKINNON: And we can't tell you who to vote for, but on Tuesday, we all get a chance to choose what kind of country we want to live in.

They aren't fooling anyone.

SNL has been telling viewers to reject Trump for months.

Trump's Hypocritical Critics

For a second week, Alec Baldwin did a great Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live.

As Baldwin participated in a sketch mocking Trump for his despicable, vulgar comments about women, I was reminded of some rather inappropriate comments Baldwin made to his daughter a few years ago.



Baldwin called his daughter a pig.

Let's move on.

John McCain has "formally" withdrawn his support of Donald Trump's candidacy.

"I have wanted to support the candidate our party nominated. He was not my choice, but as a past nominee, I thought it important I respect the fact that Donald Trump won a majority of the delegates by the rules our party set," McCain said in a lengthy written statement. "I thought I owed his supporters that deference.

"But Donald Trump’s behavior this week, concluding with the disclosure of his demeaning comments about women and his boasts about sexual assaults, make it impossible to continue to offer even conditional support for his candidacy. (McCain's wife) Cindy, with her strong background in human rights and respect for women fully agrees with me in this."

I remembered McCain being not so respectful to his wife.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, too, announced he will not support Trump, following the revelation of Trump's lewd remarks.

OK.

Schwarzenegger isn't exactly a good role model when it comes to respecting women.

Schwarzenegger later noted that once outside the gym, he forgets about bodybuilding: "I can look at a chick who's a little out of shape and if she turns me on, I won't hesitate to date her. If she's a good fuck, she can weigh 150 pounds, I don't care."

On the practice of abstaining from sex prior to a competition, Schwarzenegger rejected that approach: "I get laid on purpose. I can't sleep before a competition and I'm up all night, anyway, so instead of staring at the ceiling I figure I might as well find somebody and fuck." In fact, at the 1972 Mr. Olympia contest, "we had girls backstage giving head, then all of us went out and I won. It didn't bother me at all; in fact, I went out there feeling like King Kong," added Schwarzenegger.

So, there's that, and that adultery with the maid, and the baby.

Hillary Clinton engaged in an orchestrated effort to slime the women her husband victimized. Some of the women were victims of Bill's sexual assaults. Others were consenting participants. But, Hillary protected Bill at the expense of the women he used. Hillary worked to control the bimbo eruptions.



Ugly. Very ugly.

In sum, Trump's comments were disgusting. THERE IS NO DEFENDING HIM.

The problem is the hypocrisy of all the judgment and the criticism coming from misogynistic people. Those horrified by Trump's words have done and said some pretty horrifying things themselves.

NBC Fires Trump

NBC dumped Donald Trump for comments he made about immigrants from Mexico.

Slamming the network for standing “behind lying Brian Williams” but not him, Donald Trump wasted no time today threatening NBC with legal action over the net canceling its planned airing of the Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants. “Their contract violating closure of Miss Universe/Miss USA will be determined in court,” said Trump’s office in a statement Monday. “Furthermore, they will stand behind lying Brian Williams, but won’t stand behind people that tell it like it is, as unpleasant as that may be.”

This lawsuit threat comes as the Comcast-owned network severed its relationship today with the Miss Universe organization and its Celebrity Apprentice co-owner over remarks Trump made about “rapists” immigrants from Mexico when he kicked off his Presidential bid last month.

As of today, Donald J. Trump is no longer affiliated with NBC. Mr. Trump stands by his statements on illegal immigration, which are accurate. NBC is weak, and like everybody else is trying to be politically correct— that is why our country is in serious trouble.

Mr. Trump says, “We must have strong borders and not let illegal immigrants enter the United States. As has been stated continuously in the press, people are pouring across our borders unabated. Public reports routinely state great amounts of crime are being committed by illegal immigrants. This must be stopped and it must be stopped now. Long ago I told NBC that I would not being doing The Apprentice because I am running for President in order to Make our Country Great Again.”

Mr. Trump continued, “If NBC is so weak and so foolish to not understand the serious illegal immigration problem in the United States, coupled with the horrendous and unfair trade deals we are making with Mexico, then their contract violating closure of Miss Universe/Miss USA will be determined in court. Furthermore, they will stand behind lying Brian Williams, but won’t stand behind people that tell it like it is, as unpleasant as that may be.”

There is no question that NBC has a history of supporting its "talent," showing great tolerance.

As Trump points out, NBC stands behind the disgraced lying Brian Williams and his stolen valor stories. Sure, he's being demoted to MSNBC, for a while, but the network didn't sever ties with the liar.

Speaking of disgraces tolerated by NBC, Alec Baldwin comes to mind. When he was on 30 Rock, Baldwin again and again behaved badly, often spewing Twitter rants. In the case below, Baldwin attacked "blood thirsty right wing trash," like Michelle Malkin.






In the case of another Baldwin explosion, NBC didn't fire him when he made homophobic remarks.



Another problem for NBC: Al Sharpton. How can NBC have a hatemonger and race baiter like Al Sharpton under its employ?

Clearly, Leftists on NBC can say and do anything with impunity.

Trump, however, gets dumped.

Definitely no consistency.

Jonah Hill Apologizes on 'Tonight Show'

Well, that was awkward.

Jonah Hill just gave what apparently was a heartfelt apology for using a homophobic slur.

It always odd to witness an apology when you didn't know about the offense.

Actor Jonah Hill gave an extensive apology on the Howard Stern Show Tuesday morning for a homophobic slur he fired off at a paparazzo this weekend.

A video posted on TMZ captured the star shouting, “Suck my d***, you f*****!”

Hill, who will soon appear in the comedy sequel 22 Jump St, apologized for his “disgusting” words and clarified that he was upset because “from the day I was born, and publicly, I’ve been a gay-rights activist.” Hill said that what truly disappointed him was that the word he used wasn’t a part of his daily lexicon, as he grew up with gay family members and will stand in a gay friend and coworker’s wedding.

Hill basically said the same stuff to Jimmy Fallon.

Hill is a Leftist so he'll be forgiven, like Alec Baldwin.
