Yeah, no. Not at all.

I'm not condoning underage drinking, but suggesting this should be an issue of concern more than 25 years later is really grasping at straws.

Is it embarrassing for Rebecca Kleefisch to have a youthful indiscretion come to light? Yes. Mission accomplished there.

However, it's more embarrassing for the Kleefisch opponents revealing something so trivial. It exposes their desperation.

Charlie Sykes interviewed Ann Coulter.

I suspect the audio will be highlighted on the 620 WTMJ website. If not, the interview took place during the first half of the third hour of the show.

He stayed true to his recent MSNBC form.

He started off the interview by calling Coulter a racist.

I loved her response. She defended herself and said, "F U."

Sykes responded by commenting on Coulter's thin skin.

Yeah, Sykes has gone totally MSNBC native.

He managed to exhibit more self-control during his interview with Wisconsin Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch yesterday, but he was still snarky at times.

Clearly, with Coulter, Sykes wanted more of that national Lefty acceptance by attacking Coulter with the Left's favorite assault - RACIST.

Referring to her support of Trump, Sykes said Coulter "went nuts." She countered that he "went nuts."

Crazy.

Later, in response to more of the Sykes drivel, Coulter said, "You are pulling out every cheap trick."

It was hilarious to hear Sykes be surprised that she would take offense to his Leftist attacks.

HE CALLED HER A RACIST, and then did take it back, to which she replied, "Thank you."

Then there was discussion of the title of her new book, In Trump We Trust: E Pluribus Awesome!

Sykes commented that she replaced God with Trump, as if she has given up her Catholicism for Trump, worshipping a false idol.

That may have been what elicited the "cheap trick" comment.

How many instances of "In [fill in the blank] we trust" are there? Does "In cheese we trust" sound familiar? Yes, it's funny, not a literal refutation of God.

Good grief.

I enjoyed the interview. It was a microcosm of the divide in the Republican party - the drift to the Left (Sykes) and the swing to the Right (Coulter).

Absolutely delightful.

Scott Walker: Our American Revival

Some conservatives are pleased with the revelation that Scott Walker has formed a 2016 presidential committee.

They're excited about Our American Revival.

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, whose speech to activists in Iowa last weekend drew strong reviews, has taken the first formal step toward a presidential candidacy in 2016, establishing a committee that will help spread his message and underwrite his activities as he seeks to build his political and fundraising networks in the months ahead.

Walker filed papers to set up the committee, called "Our American Revival," and a new Web site for the organization was scheduled to go live later Tuesday. The steps come after a busy weekend of pre-presidential events that included his address at the Iowa Freedom Summit, a later appearance at a gathering in California hosted by the billionaire Koch brothers and a stopover in Denver for additional fundraising.

“Our American Revival encompasses the shared values that make our country great; limiting the powers of the federal government to those defined in the Constitution while creating a leaner, more efficient, more effective and more accountable government to the American people,” Walker said in a statement in the release announcing the committee.

"[A]ppearance at a gathering in California hosted by the billionaire Koch brothers" -- Koch brothers, of course. Is it possible for a Leftist media outlet to mention a conservative without mentioning the Koch brothers?

It's so silly, especially since talk about the Koch brothers does nothing to dissuade conservative supporters.

Anyway, Walker has enjoyed some good buzz nationally.

Walker emerged as the star from last weekend's Iowa Freedom Summit.

In addition, Rush Limbaugh has practically endorsed him, which is huge. For a long time, Limbaugh has cited Walker as the blueprint for conservative success. He continues to support Walker.

Many people are happy to see Walker pursuing a presidential run.

As a Wisconsin voter, one of the people responsible for helping Walker to win three gubernatorial elections in Wisconsin, I have mixed feelings.

While I think Walker would make an excellent president and deserves his place in the Republican field of potential nominees, I didn't vote for "Our American Revival."

I voted for "Our Wisconsin Revival."

There is work to be done here at home. I don't want issues important to Wisconsin to become "distractions" to Walker's higher political aspirations.

Granted, if Walker fails to tend to matters in Wisconsin, he hurts his chances to succeed nationally. There is that fail-safe aspect. Walker can't ignore us without putting his presidential hopes at risk.

That's somewhat comforting, but not quite enough.

Although he has been elected governor THREE TIMES, he's only been in office for one term. It's been an incredible, challenging, historic term, but one term, nonetheless.

Without a doubt, Walker is certainly dramatically more qualified to be president than Obama was at the time of his election.

As I said, mixed feelings.

If Americans choose Walker to be the 2016 Republican nominee for president, I will support him wholeheartedly.

I do think Rebecca Kleefisch would make a great governor.

Scott Walker Three-Peat Victory Speech (Video)

Thank God, Scott Walker gave the victory speech last night and not Mary Burke. Thank God!

Speaking of God, Walker started his speech by thanking God. Then, he thanked the "men and women in uniform and all the veterans who proudly served our country."

Of course, he thanked his wife, Tonette, and his sons, Matt and Alex, and other family members.

Walker thanked Rebecca Kleefisch, the lieutenant governor, and her family.

He thanked all the campaign workers and the voters.

He had kind and very respectful words for Mary Burke. (She was not nearly as gracious to him in her concession speech. Burke didn't handle her loss with grace. No surprise there, but it's unfortunate.)

Then, Walker talked about how much work we still have to do.

He mentioned how the Big Government special interests failed in this election, and over the past few years in this state, to convince the people of Wisconsin to be "against something." The unions couldn't deliver. They failed in the recall and they failed in their effort to elect Mary Burke.

Fail, fail, fail. Three times: FAIL.

Walker talked about big ideas in his speech, rather than specifics for Wisconsin's future.

It did sound like Walker was addressing a national audience. Of course, he was.

That's fitting given that Obama and Big Labor declared Walker's defeat to be their most treasured prize. They put our gubernatorial race in the national spotlight.

Walker did quickly run through his accomplishments and successes in Wisconsin over the past four years, but this speech focused on bigger stuff.

He declared himself to be an optimist. He talked about the American Dream and the Fourth of July.

Walker ended with, "In America, we celebrate our independence from the government, not our dependence on it."

It seemed like he referred to "America" as many times as "Wisconsin," maybe more.

Was this the beginning of a presidential run?

The speech certainly sounded like more than just an address to Wisconsinites. But, the races in Wisconsin, the recall and this election, have been more of a national thing. Walker didn't choose the recall nightmare and all the ensuing insanity.

The Democrats and the unions turned Walker into a national figure. He's the first and the only sitting governor to survive a recall in American history.

It makes sense that his speech would include statements about conservative principles relevant to Americans outside of Wisconsin.

As a whole, the 2014 election was about the repudiation of the direction Obama and the Democrats have taken us. The country rejected Leftist policies, not just Wisconsinites.

DEMOCRAT Debbie Wasserman Schultz was in Milwaukee yesterday, disgracing herself and her political party.

Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz ripped into Republican Gov. Scott Walker's record Wednesday during a round-table discussion on women's issues at the Milwaukee Athletic Club.

The Florida congresswoman said: "Scott Walker has given women the back of his hand. I know that is stark. I know that is direct. I know that is reality."

Wasserman Schultz added: "What Republican tea party extremists like Scott Walker are doing is they are grabbing us by the hair and pulling us back. It is not going to happen on our watch."

Appropriately, Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch expressed her disgust at Wasserman Schultz.

Republican Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch said she was "shocked" that Wasserman Schultz used domestic violence language to discuss political disagreements.

"I think the remarks were absolutely hideous and the motive behind them was despicable," Kleefisch said.

Kleefisch called on Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mary Burke to "denounce these outrageous statements" made by the DNC leader.

Stephanie Wilson, Burke's press secretary, suggested in a statement that Wasserman Schultz's comments went too far.

"That's not the type of language that Mary Burke would use, or has used, to point out the clear differences in this contest," Wilson said.

Wilson added, "There is plenty that she and Governor Walker disagree on — but those disagreements can and should be pointed out respectfully."

This is absolutely disgusting, and totally expected from the likes of Wasserman Schultz.

This is how the Democrats roll now.

Mary Burke should contact local TV stations and voice her personal dismay regarding the remarks of Wasserman Schultz. She should state unequivocally that she denounces Wasserman Schultz.

Using the imagery of domestic violence to describe Gov. Scott Walker is completely out of line. Wasserman Schultz managed to hurt the victims of abuse while making a fool of herself.

This sort of rhetoric is inexcusable.

Burke should grow a spine and speak out against this sort of despicable behavior.

We, the "silent" majority - the ones who didn't occupy the Capitol and blow vuvuzelas or bang drums or dress like zombies or send death threats or sign recall petitions or key cars with bumper stickers showing support for our political opponents - voted in huge numbers.

No vans scooped us up and dropped us off for early voting. No paid activists pounded on our doors and ushered us to the polls.

This was a grassroots victory.

All the organization and the money and the manpower the unions could muster wasn't enough to defeat us.

The Leftist/Democrat/unionista tantrum, the historic hissy fit, was a complete and utter waste. COMPLETE AND UTTER WASTE!

We are the majority. And yesterday, we sent the message that we aren't silent.

The taxpayers, hard-working Wisconsinites, prevailed.

Belling Apologizes to Dimitrijevic

Mark Belling has come under fire for a remark he made while talking about Milwaukee County Chairwoman Marina Dimitrijevic.

On his WISN radio show last Friday, Belling was discussing Dimitrijevic and her lies about the county board's negotiations with a decertified union, District Council 48 of AFSCME.

On his Tuesday program, Belling apologized repeatedly for his choice of words after a letter demanding that he do so, signed by Leftists, was highlighted in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. (It should be noted that no one sent the letter to Belling. Dimitrijevic didn't directly demand an apology from him.)

Representatives for working women are calling on conservative talk show host Mark Belling to apologize for using the term "bitches" while describing Milwaukee County Board Chairwoman Marina Dimitrijevic's fight with state lawmakers over a bill to trim the board's pay.

"Even for mean-spirited people, there is a line, and he's crossed it," said Ellen Bravo, executive director of Family Values @ Work Consortium.

On Friday afternoon's show on WISN-AM (1130), Belling was echoing Republican legislative leaders who ripped the Milwaukee County Board for opening contract negotiations with a decertified union.

...Belling personally attacked Dimitrijevic for her handling of the matter.

After describing her as a "dangerous person" guilty of a "corruption of power," the radio talker said Dimitrijevic's actions may have pushed some moderate Republican lawmakers into supporting a bill that would cut the pay of county supervisors in half if approved by voters in a binding referendum in 2014. Belling noted, in particular, that the bill would significantly cut her pay.

"You know what the saying in this case is? 'Payback, she be a bitch,'" Belling said in the second hour of his show. "Lot of bitches in this story."

...Dana Schultz, state director of 9 to 5, urged Belling to apologize on air both to Dimitrijevic and the Milwaukee community for his "misogynist remark."

Schultz released a letter signed by 36 female political and labor leaders objecting to Belling's "poisonous rhetoric." Among those signing the letter are former Lt. Gov. Barb Lawton, ex-Attorney General Peg Lautenschlager and former Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk - all of whom are Democrats.

"Enough is enough," says the letter. "When anyone attacks a female leader with comments related to her gender and not on the merits of the discussion, it is vital for our entire community that this behavior is addressed and changed."

Schultz's letter calls on critics of Dimitrijevic to stick to the issues and not to attack her personally by using such terms as "bitch."

...Conservative radio host Charlie Sykes came to Belling's defense on Tuesday, noting that many of those criticizing Belling said nothing when liberal talker Sly Sylvester mocked Republican Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch's battle with cancer and suggested she performed sex acts on Milwaukee radio hosts.

...Schultz, who organized the letter criticizing Belling, said Sykes made a good point.

"I'm equally upset at Sly's comments," Schultz said. "I wasn't aware of this example you mention and was not at 9 to 5 at that time. An attack on Lt. Gov. Kleefisch is an attack on all women and equally diminishes the political dialogue no matter which side of the aisle."

I think Belling did the right thing by apologizing because his comments could be construed to refer to Dimitrijevic. By apologizing, and apologizing profusely, he defused the situation. He disarmed his detractors.

I'm not defending Belling's use of the derogatory term. However, I do think the people who signed that letter are a bit thin-skinned, making a mountain out of a molehill, especially when put in the context of the abuse hurled at conservative women. They reveal themselves to be major league hypocrites.

They flipped out over Belling's spoutings, but stood silent when Sly Sylvester mercilessly degraded Rebecca Kleefisch.

Dana Schultz excuses herself from the hypocrisy: "I wasn't aware of this example you mention and was not at 9 to 5 at that time. An attack on Lt. Gov. Kleefisch is an attack on all women and equally diminishes the political dialogue no matter which side of the aisle."

Blah, blah, blah. Too little, too late.

She wasn't at 9 to 5 at the time. So what?

Falk, Lawton, and Lautenschlager had to know about the slime being spurted by the vile Sylvester.

Belling's "bitch" remark can't be compared to the vitriol directed at Kleefisch, not even remotely. Nonetheless, Belling apologized to Dimitrijevic. No doubt about that. It was clear, not a vague non-apology apology.

In addition to news of Belling's apology, something else came to light on Tuesday.

Dimitrijevic was actively soliciting support, stirring up outrage at Belling.

Milwaukee County Chairwoman Marina Dimitrijevic declined to enter the public fray when asked this week about radio host Mark Belling's use of the term "bitches" while describing Dimitrijevic's battle with state lawmakers.

Behind the scenes, however, Dimitirijevic was lining up signatures over the weekend for a letter from female labor and political leaders asking Belling to apologize for his "sexist remarks."

"Please let me know if you are willing to sign on to this letter tonight," Dimitirijevic wrote on Sunday in an email from her personal account to a "fellow woman leader."

Responded former Attorney General Peg Lautenschlager: "Please join me in signing this letter as a necessary rebuke to Belling's continued disgusting remarks. You may email me or Marina if you care to sign on."

...Bill Zaferos, spokesman for Dimitrijevic, said there's nothing inconsistent about the chairwoman's public words and private actions.

"Was she aware of the letter?" Zaferos asked. "How could she not be?"

Zaferos said the freshman County Board leader was offended by Belling's remark on his Friday afternoon show. "It was a derogatory, sexist term," Zaferos said.

That's a much more direct response than the one put out Monday by Dimitrijevic via a spokesman. "The comment speaks for itself," she said. "The listeners can judge for themselves."

This episode has really backfired on Dimitrijevic.

Her stunt to attack Belling only served to highlight her deception. She was the driving force behind the effort to whip up a frenzy over Belling's comments even though she tried to present herself as being uninvolved, "no comment."

Dimitrijevic's creation of this "controversy" drew attention to the context in which Belling's comments were made, highlighting something far more damaging to Dimitrijevic than a radio talk show host using the term "bitch." He discussed her county board activities. She gave Belling the opportunity to call her out for being a liar.

While he expressed his regret and apologized numerous times, Belling called on Dimitrijevic to "apologize for lying to us."

I suspect that Dimitrijevic regrets taking on Belling.

She lost.

Here in Wisconsin, we've witnessed just how deranged and ugly the Leftists can be.

After the Democrats crashed and burned on June 5th, suffering crushing defeat in the recall election of Gov. Scott Walker and Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch, I didn't expect them to go away quietly and respect the democratic process. I thought the nuts would continue to abuse and attack. There was no way they would suddenly become tolerant of others and conduct themselves in a civil, respectful fashion.

Their behavior, of course, is extremely disturbing.

Also, disturbing is the failure of the liberal media to cover their despicable antics.

It really is a dereliction of their duty as members of the press to inform the public in a free society.

Jeremy Ryan, "Segway Boy," Leftist and abusive protester, is still on the attack. He has gone to incredible lengths to harass and attempt to intimidate through unspeakable cruelty.

Ryan and his cohorts targeted Gwyn Guenther, daughter of the late Dick Wheeler, founder of The Wheeler Report.

Dick Wheeler passed away on November 11, 2011.

On July 9, 2012, the contemptible Ryan and his fellow contemptible protesters gathered outside the press room in the State Capitol and sang a song referencing Gwyn's late father.

Truly sickening.

Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life Bus Tour - Madison Protests

The Susan B. Anthony List Bus Tour, "Women Speak Out," stopped in Madison yesterday.

Pro-abortion protesters attempted to disrupt the pro-life speakers, including Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch.

A lineup of prominent state and national pro-life speakers, including Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch, had their “Abortion is not health care” message shouted down in Madison Tuesday, with exchanges between opposing sides at one point nearly coming to blows.

The Susan B. Anthony List anti-abortion bus tour through five key swing states in advance of the November elections made its most controversial stop yet, at James Madison Park. A crowd of roughly 50 supporters who gathered around the bus found themselves besieged by a small but vocal group of pro-choice advocates.

“Only in Madison,” Sue Armacost, Wisconsin Right to Life’s political action committee director, told the crowd before making her prepared statements.

The local stop to campaign against President Barack Obama, Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin and other Democrats' so-called “extreme and radical” pro-choice agenda quickly was transformed by pro-choice forces to include the national abortion-related news of the week.

Shouts of “Akin, Akin, Akin!” were among the first wave of chants by pro-choice supporters, who were initially led by provocative local radio talk show host John "Sly" Sylvester.

Shouts of “Republicans suck!” and “Shame, shame!” soon followed from the roughly dozen protesters who encircled the crowd, drowning out the words of the intended speakers.

So much for the new civility touted by Obama and the Leftists.

What hypocrisy!
